I am planning on going to Turkey in late May. I would really like your input about where to stay and how to get there and where to go and that sort of thing.
I understand that Istanbul has about twelve million people. As a rule, I am not a real big fan of cities. When I travel, my favorite activity is getting a rental car and exploring the countryside. Is that something that I can do without a lot of trouble? I don't know anything about Turkey. Do you have or know of any travel scrap books online that were written or developed by normal people that tell about ordinary things??? I don't normally go to places like Disney. I like staying in small hotels and mixing with the locals... Here is the link to the web site for the conference I am going to....
